For nearly 80 years the Fabric Showroom team has worked to build a legacy of quality and service. Over the years most custom furniture and drapery shops relied heavily on an apprentice program to pass their knowledge to the next generation. While most local firms lost their craftsperson’s to other trades, we are proud to say that we have stayed on course since 1927.
The Fabric Showroom quite possibly, was the first full service, custom home furnishings store in the country. To each member of our design team, creating your furnishings is a profession, not a hobby.
We have reupholstered and slip covered well over 150,000 pieces of furniture and dressed over 20,000 windows since our inception. That history is adorned by the extraordinary talents and dedication of each craftsperson we employ.
